This single family residence located on the island of Abaco in The Bahamas takes advantage of the beautiful views provided by its beachfront site. It is designed to withstand high velocity winds and features sustainable design interventions to respond to flood waters and storm surges. As such, the primary building mass is lifted above the ground plane, creating a secondary space for covered parking, outdoor and beaching activities underneath.
